Hey there! I’m Julie, a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer and Agency Owner. I help small businesses to amplify their brand and bring targeted customers to their virtual doors through custom marketing strategy and clear brand messaging.

My mission

My mission is to empower small business owners with digital marketing knowledge and guidance to drive more organic lead generation for less cost. I love supporting small business owners as their personal marketing advisor and guide.

About my background

I have 13 years of experience in marketing strategy, social media marketing, email marketing, organic search engine optimization (SEO), brand messaging, content writing, podcast production, and online course creation. I have helped non-profits, small businesses, and entrepreneurs to increase their exposure and amplify their brand, increasing Google ranking and building engaged and loyal audiences.

I’m also a professional actor, director, award-winning playwright, and drama instructor, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Directing. My 30+ years of training and experience with storytelling gives me a unique perspective to help others tell their brand story. My Brand Story Workshop is my favorite service I offer to clients.

One thing that’s unique about me is that I ran a small online business from my home office for six years. This gives me a unique perspective into the daily trials of running a small business and makes me better suited to help you! I can relate to your problems and find cost-effective solutions to grow your online presence that will work with your business’s structure.

My team

I work with a fantastic team of graphic designers, web designers, content writers, photographers, videographers, digital ad providers, and marketing analytics providers, to name a few. I really enjoy bringing together teams of incredible people who are not only seriously talented, they are a pleasure to work with, meet deadlines, and are really good listeners. These are the people that I trust and want to work with, as I’ll be your project manager to make sure everything comes together on time and on budget.

My clients

I want to work with small business owners, small non-profits, and entrepreneurs who have a great reputation and do great work. They have gotten by with little or no marketing so far, but they are ready to scale and know they need to start reaching people outside their referral network. I can help them build the marketing fundamentals, including brand strategy and messaging refinement, and create a marketing strategy to lead those ideal clients their way.

I especially love helping folks who feel overwhelmed by marketing their business online and want to find someone they can trust to take care of marketing for them. I’ll be your trusted part-time contract CMO and bring in my own team of excellent contractors to do all the implementation work.

I have experience working with law firms, bookkeeping firms, consulting firms, health and wellness, juvenile products, and nonprofits. I also have experience in the following industries: beauty education, theatre, electronics distribution, and trucking/logistics.
